History of the HORN company

12/2024

New assembly vehicles

In December 2024, 4 new assembly vehicles were added to the fleet. Our fitters have been actively using the vehicles ever since. The new assembly vehicles not only offer more space and better equipment, but also greater flexibility and efficiency in our on-site operations.

New trainees from China

In September 2024 we welcomed 2 new trainees from China! The company HORN enables them to complete an apprenticeship in Germany. We are doing our best to support the 2 trainees in their start in another country. The 30-hour journey to Germany will definitely pay off.

Company anniversary - 40 years of HORN

On 06.11.2022, the HORN company celebrated its 40th anniversary. The mayor Doris Schröter, host of the anniversary Bernhard Bitterwolf, Ilona Boos & Thomas Schäfers from the municipal business development department, various suppliers and employees with their families were welcomed with a standing reception. The trade show in the “Hochberger Straße” industrial estate took place at the same time as our anniversary. We were therefore able to inspire many of our customers and visitors to the trade show with our open day.

2022

Extension of administration building

Due to the continuous growth in the number of employees, the administration building was extended in 2022 with an additional storey. The upper floor now houses additional offices and a large meeting room that is perfect for company meetings.

2021

New E-Smart for apprentices

In 2021, we decided to purchase an electric Smart for our trainees for the first time. The electric Smart not only serves them as a practical means of transportation, but also as a symbol of our commitment to taking responsibility for a greener future.

2020

New hall construction

In 2020, we expanded our warehouse space with the new hall building. An additional office was also built for spare parts management. Two-thirds of the hall has been rented out to date. The total hall area is around 2500m²

Takeover of Heger company

The Heger company was acquired in 2016. The product range was expanded. We are delighted that we can now also offer grain crushers, grist mills and the universal huller.

2013

ISO certification 9001

HORN has been ISO-9001 certified since 25.01.2013. We aim to continue to meet the ISO requirements in the future through annual recertifications.

2012 - heute

New logo

In 2012, the logo was modernized and adapted for our international customers. The HORN brand still runs under this logo today.

Umzug in das Gewerbegebiet

In 2012, the company moved from Friedrich-List-Straße to Mackstraße and thus to the “Hochberger Straße” industrial estate in Bad Saulgau. The move was celebrated with an open day.
